    Kyocera Echo Review

Sprint's Kyocera Echo is certainly eye-catching, packing two 3.5 inch touchscreen and a clever. In terms of hardware, bar the double displays the Echo isn't particularly unusual or even outstanding given its soon-to-be flagship among Sprint'n line up. There's 3G but no WiMAX 4G, a 5 megapixel camera (720p HD video recording) having a Snapdragon processor of 1GHz single-core. Resolution of 800 x 480 touchscreen resolution, 4.7 inch display side-by-side running at 800 x 960, thought obviously with a gap in the middle. 1GB storage onboard argumented with an in-box 8GB microSD card (expandable to 32GB).

The Mobile Office: Nokia E7 Review

Business as usual - Another smartphone from Nokia, the Nokia E7 the latest with its pleasantly different design. An eye catching 4 inch AMOLED display using Nokia's clear-display technology. Business users and messaging junkies could get good use out of the E7, though we can't say it'd be our first choice for either purpose. What elevates this package (somewhat) is the breadth of connectivity. Other smartphones will offer an HDMI option but Nokia will be one of the few companies to include all the accessories you need to use this straight away. The USB adapter is great for file transfers, but once you plug in a mouse you get a glimpse of the future. These aren't features to choose a phone on primarily, but they will make a huge difference in certain business cases.

It's equipped with 2GB of memory, and the Lithium Polymer battery is non-removable.

    Infuse 4G review

The Samsung Infuse 4G instantly commands attention with its large 4.5″ display, and defines exquisite multi-media potential with the high quality performance of the Samsung Super AMOLED Plus technology touch screen that is nothing short of breath taking. This savvy smartphone is very light, weighing in at less than 5 ounces and only 0.35″ thick. The Infuse 4G shows up with the same class of camera seen in most new phones, which includes an 8 mp LED flash supported rear facing camera that features stunning HD 720p video capture, and a 1.3 mp forward facing camera. the Infuse has a snappy 1.2 GHz processor on board, which is plenty fast and powerful for superior multi-tasking and 4G data download speeds. This powerhouse processor works beautifully with the Android 2.2 Froyo OS; additional features include Wifi connectivity and Mobile Hotspot capability, USB support, an FM radio, Bluetooth, and much more.
The good: The Samsung Infuse 4G features a large and vibrant 4.5-inch touch screen that's great for browsing and videos. The bad: The lower-resolution screen makes text look a bit pixelated. AT&T's 4G data speeds are slow.

The improvement in cabling technology has made it possible to export the audio and video from your computer's graphics card to your external devices with just a single cable. The entire hook up takes only a minute or two and you can be enjoying your digital media files on your TV or sound system.

    Asus Eee PC 1215B-SIV031M

Two Netbook Asus Eee PC processors adopt the APU from AMD, The Asus brand, mother of the netbook, has extended its range of small laptops with two references C-50 APU from AMD.

Asus finally launching netbooks with two AMD platform Brazos. The Eee PC 1015B (10.1 inches) and 1215B (12.1 inches) retain the aesthetic standards of the range: a frame with rounded corners, a shiny plastic top cover (1015) or matt (1215), and pegs matt hands normally. Chiclet keyboard is the rendezvous, as the wide multipoint touchpad.

The two plates do not offer the same definition, but both are brilliant.

    Disappointing launch configuration

The screen offers a definition 1215B HD (1366 x 768 pixels). To animate this small PC, Asus has opted for an AMD C-50. A questionable choice considering the competition Machinery 11.6 and 12.1 inches embarking all E-350 (the DM1-3135 from HP, for example). Asus ensures however that the implementation of the APU is included in the 1215B, but only at the next quarter. The rest of the setup is classic: 4 GB of DDR3 memory, 500 GB hard drive (5400 rpm only), a Wi-Fi module n, full connectivity (USB 2 and 3, HDMI port, VGA port, Ethernet). Asus also offers access to the Web Storage to store data online (offer 60 days free). This 12.1-inch screen netbook will be available in three colors (black, gray and red), with 6 cell battery and is expected to weigh 1.45 kg.Listed at a price of $ 399, the 1215B-SIV031M should be available soon. We do not recommend this configuration.Better to wait for the next quarter or opt for the HP machine mentioned above. Finally, several configurations should be available following the signs, with specificities different from those announced here.

    Packard Bell Liberty Tab

A 10.1-inch tablet Android late June at Packard Bell, Acer and Packard Bell are closely connected, when the parent starts a tablet, it is natural that the follow subsidiary.

Packard Bell is also expanding into the shelves. The footsteps of its parent company, Acer, the brand released its Liberty Tab at the end of June. This is a model incorporating a 10.1-inch screen (1280 x 800 pixels) with brightness sensor, operating with the Nvidia Tegra chip 2 and running with Google Android 3.0 (Honeycomb).

    Arias Iconia Tab

No revolution in the design of the tablet of Packard Bell. We feel that the influence of Acer is not far away like the A500 Iconia Tab, Tab Liberty adorned with two bands imitating brushed steel on the top and bottom of the screen. However, what we could see the back of the tablet is composed of plastic red or white, depending on the version.

Like the Acer tablet can find a USB Host port (to read the contents of a USB key, for example), a mini-HDMI output, a 3.5mm jack and two webcams (one in front of 2 megapixels, and one at the rear of 5 Mpix). The storage capacity is not yet known, but may be extended to 32 GB (Micro SD port present).

Finally, the network connectivity is limited to Wi-Fi n, a 3G version should be released before the end of 2011.

According to our information, the tablet should be available by the end of June and sold between $ 399 and $ 499 .

    Sony VPL-HW30ES

Sony launches 3D projector midrange, In July, a new 3D projector home theater will come on the market: the Sony VPL-HW30ES. An affordable model.

    Sony VPL-HW30ES

Sony will offer in July new home theater projector 3D 3300 dollars. The Sony VPL-HW30ES is a device whose lines, the look and finish are identical to those of his predecessors (Sony VPL-HW15, HW20 and HW90), but compatible 3D. A scan mode 240 Hz is indeed built, and a method for converting 2D to 3D. But glasses and transmitter synchronization are optional ... Sony advises his 3D active pairs TDG-PC1 (100 dollars) and its transmitter TMR-PC1 (70 dollars).

    Known characteristics

On the technical side, the Sony VPL-HW30ES is not very different from the HW20. It displays a brightness of 1300 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 70 000:1 and emits only 22 dB in operation. Easy to install, thanks to its lens shift H / V (+ / -25% horizontal, + / -65% vertical), it is still home and always an auto iris, Real Colour Processing and Video Processing Bravia Engine 2. The setting options are the same as previous models, a few details.

Side connections, nothing new either: two HDMI inputs, VGA input, analog video inputs and one RS232 port. Adjusting the zoom and focus are manual. So little new, except the compatibility 3D, for projector Sony's 3300 dollars.

    Apple iMac 27" 3.1 GHz Core i5

The new Apple iMac all pass the Thunderbolt and the i5, The high speed connectivity and the new Intel quad-core processors i5 are the main novelties of the updated all-in-one Apple.

    Apple iMac MC814LL/A 27-Inch Desktop

After being the first computer manufacturer to integrate - in his MacBook Pro - Apple again shows its confidence in the high-speed connectivity Thunderbolt, by sliding in its iMac. There are thus two ports Thunderbolt on models 27 inches and on those of 21.5-inch diagonal sizes of the two (two models each) did not progress. If, for now compatible devices are still not available, the theoretical transfer rate of 10 Gbit / s channels into two quite baffling.

Waiting to be ruffled by these bursts of speed, Thunderbolt ports, mini-DisplayPort format, can obviously be used to connect an external monitor to display an extended desktop or a copy of the main display.

    Graphics cards for gaming?

It's a Radeon HD 6970M with 1 GB of dedicated memory, which supports the graphics and display for 27-inch high-end (native resolution: 2560 x 1440 pixels). In the 21.5-inch entry-level, this is a Radeon HD 6750M with 512 MB of video memory (native resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels), while there is a Radeon HD 6770M , also with 512 MB of memory, both in the high end of the 21.5-inch version in the smallest of 27 inches.
This new generation of cards does, a priori, no big improvement over the HD series 5xxx, but it is a great leap forward in terms of power compared to the Radeon HD 4xxx previous iMacs. However, the 21.5-inch 6770 is expected to run current games provided to maintain reasonable adjustments. Same for HD 6970, which should enable it to play without too many problems, especially if the model is optional with 2 GB of dedicated memory. Our tests will tell us more clearly.

    Generation processor

Unlike the previous generation, which saw the introduction of Core processors with Core i3 and i5, the new versions are all equipped standard with Quad Core i5 Sandy Bridge. He is the first 21.5-inch 2.5 GHz, the second at 2.7 GHz. As for 27-inch models, they are at 2.7 and 3.1 GHz. Also note that the Core i7 to 2.8 and 3.4 GHz are available as options for both high-end models, for $ 200 extra.

    A stable

For the rest, Apple retains the same basis for its configuration: 4 GB DDR 3 RAM standard, which can be raised to 16 GB maximum, and hard drives of 1TB iMac on all except the first 21.5 inches, with 512 GB only. All operate at 7200 rpm. SSD options are available, from $ 500 for 256 GB, the three most expensive models.
Apple also is reviewing its prices slightly downward. The 21.5-inch 2.5 GHz is sold $ 1 149 or $ 50 less than its predecessor. His older brother is available at $ 1,449, again $ 50 less than the previous generation. The first 27-inch also seen its price fall by as much at $ 1 649. The top model, it shows 1 $ 899, against $ 1,999 previously.

If we always regret the lack of Blu-ray, eSATA port and USB 3.0, it is difficult not to recognize a certain attraction to these all-in-one design still attractive and the price reduced.

    System randomly crashing, rebooting, freezing?

Is your system randomly crashing, rebooting, freezing, etc? Then here are the right steps to resolve the issue:

    1. Consider the make & model of your computer system. A cheap, generic or underspecified computer system can be the cause of many stability-related issues or even damage other components.
    2. Have you tried running Memtest86+ overnight? Download it, burn it as a CD, and boot to it. It'll automatically start testing your RAM. Even one memory error is too much and will cause system instability or even data corruption. This could indicate faulty memory, voltage irregularities, incorrect timings, overheating, or even a problem with the CPU or motherboard.

    3. Capacitors, or caps for short, are like small batteries. They can also fail in the same ways; swelling, leaking out of the top or bottom, or even exploding in severe cases. This can cause voltage irregularities and system instability. Unless you are already skilled at electrical repair, it's almost always best to just replace the entire component.

Test the Life of a Laptop

If the laptop fails unexpectedly, you could lose years worth of pictures, documents and personal files. Testing the condition of your laptop components from time to time is one of the best ways to protect you from the possible loss of data.
Following are the steps to test the life of your laptop components:

1). Shut down the laptop and wait for it to power down completely. Press the power button and watch the screen closely.
2). Press the appropriate key to enter setup mode. This hot key varies from laptop to laptop, so watch the screen for a message saying "Press XXX to enter setup."

3). Wait for the setup menu to appear, then arrow over to the advanced menu. Scroll through the list of options until you find the available hardware tests. You should see both a fast and a thorough hard drive test, and perhaps a memory test as well.

4). Run all of the available tests from the setup menu. The results can tell you a great deal about the health of the laptop, from the condition of the hard drive to the quality of the memory.

    Troubleshoot NVRAM

Non-Volatile Random Access Memory, a type of memory that retains its contents when power is turned off. One type of NVRAM is SRAM that is made non-volatile by connecting it to a constant power source such as a battery. Another type of NVRAM uses EEPROM chips to save its contents when power is turned off. In this case, NVRAM is composed of a combination of SRAM and EEPROM chips.

1). Put the Windows 7 installation disc into your computer's optical drive and power the system on.
2). Click on the language that you speak from the menu that appears and then click "Next."

3). Click on the "Repair your computer" option from the menu.

4). Choose the Windows 7 operating system from the menu and then click "Next."

5). Click on the "Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool" from the menu and then wait for the scan to complete.

6). Wait for the system to restart with your NVRAM repaired.

    Fix a Blurry Widescreen Monitor

Main reason behind widescreen monitor blurriness is a lack of necessary RAM (random access memory) to run your computer's programs, although a number of monitor settings under your operating system may need to be tweaked in order to fix this problem. Fortunately, no specific computer expertise is required in order to troubleshoot and fix a blurry widescreen monitor.

Follow the below steps to resolve this issue:
1). Check your widescreen monitor under different situations. If the monitor only appears blurry in certain situations and not others, the issue may not lie with the monitor itself. There must be enough free RAM available for your computer programs and games to run smoothly and without blur.
Try closing certain unneeded programs and testing your monitor's performance.

2). Use the Task Manager in Windows to check on your system's performance and view what applications are open and which may need to be closed in order to free up enough memory to eliminate blur on your widescreen monitor. Press the "CTRL" and "ALT" and "Delete" buttons simultaneously on your computer's keyboard to bring up the Task Manager. You may select the "Performance" tab under the Task Manager to check your applications' memory usage.

3). Ensure the latest version of Direct X is installed on your computer.

4). Right-click anywhere on your desktop area if blur problems continue on your widescreen monitor. Select the "Personalize" listing from the menu that appears after right clicking, then select "Display Settings." Choose the "Highest" setting option within this Display Settings window.

5). Change the refresh rate of your widescreen monitor to 60 hertz. This also can be altered under the "Display Settings" menu and by selecting "Advanced Settings" and "Monitor."

6). Right click on your desktop again if problems persist and the fonts exclusively appear to be blurry. Select "Personalize," then choose "Windows Color and Appearance." Choose the "Effects" listing from the pop up box. Select the "Clear Type/Standard."
7). Allow Windows to choose the correct settings to improve blurriness if all other attempts fail. Right click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. Choose "Properties" and "Advanced System Settings." Under the Advanced Settings tab, select "Advanced" and "Performance Settings." Choose the "Let Windows choose what's best for my computer" option under the "Performance Settings" listing.
