In this post, we will show you simple way to make free video calls on your Samsung Galaxy S and S2 Android Devices using Skype video calling feature which was recently added to some limited android phones only and we hope that they will enable this feature for all android compatible smartphones for next update of this application.
Skype is one the best chat client which support many features such as video calling, text messaging, making group calls, group chat for affordable prices. Skype releases its official app to all the Android users in which you can make video calling from your android device. In the previous update of android there are only few phones supports this video calling feature but in this new update it supports almost all the android devices.
Now your android powered phone can make free video calls (via Wi-Fi or 3G internet ) from skype-to-skype and call phones at skype phone calling rates. I thinks this app save a lot of money for every one as you can make unlimited conversation with your friend who is having skype app on this Android Mobile.
Note: One more thing i want to say, For those users who are running android 2.2 froyo operating system they can use only back camera although if you have front camera, i know this will make your annoy. Only Android 2.3 Gingerbread users can use both front and camera.
You can make free voice call with your friends who are not having the front cam on their device and you can also able to switch cameras from front to back or back to front as you like. I think this is really great app for all the smart phones users as you can be in contact with all your friends for free. And maintain good relation among yourselves.
Here is our review, when i personally tested this skype video calling feature on my Samsung Galaxy S android phone and we got more significant details and experience. When i called my brother through skype, he having Samaung Galaxy S2 on his side. Since we chatted up to 1 hour via Wi-Fi internet broadband and we didn't notice any lag or bugs after continuously using this application. Off course the battery will drain more when you are using wi-fi with skype, so charge your phone before calling your friends then it will not interrupt your video call.
