Today EA Mobile announced that The Sims FreePlay is now available in the Android Market. I’m not sure how many Sims fans we have around here, but earlier comments suggest that your wife will love the game. This time around, players will be have more than 1,200 customizable ways to design their dream home and neighborhood.
Highlights of The Sims FreePlay include:
Create up to 16 customized Sims from head to toeDesign dream homes or get fully-furnished houses for your SimsCare for pets, grow gardens, even bake a cakeGive your Sims careers and earn Simoleons to improve their situationsComplete goals for Lifestyle Points, then spend them on hip itemsLive with your Sims in real-time (when it’s day or night for you, it’s the same for your Sims)! As the name implies, the game is free so go ahead and grab it now. Use caution though, because the game eats up around 640 MB of storage when installed. EA also recommends connecting to WiFi to download and play, due to the “rich, immersive quality of this game.”
Early reviews are positive, but let us know what you think of the game if you try it out. It’s not supported on the Galaxy Nexus, but I’m installing it on my Transformer Prime right now.

Reply 9JonnyP 16 hours ago Thumb upThumb down 0Does anyone know why this isn’t supported on the GN? Seems strange…
Reply 9JonnyP 16 hours ago Thumb upThumb down 0Nevermind, I am dumb. ICS issue.
Reply 100Taylor Wimberly 16 hours ago Thumb upThumb down +1Don’t think it’s ICS, because I have it running on my Transformer Prime with Android 4.0.
Reply 83Jorge Eslava 11 hours ago Thumb upThumb down 0It must be because it runs vanilla Android.
(I’m joking of course)
Reply 98keridel 16 hours ago Thumb upThumb down +5So guess what??
Not available in the UK.
I’m ready to go on a killing spree I swear.
Reply 55Jorge Branco 11 hours ago Thumb upThumb down 0I’m with you there mate. It seems like every app I see reviewed here is us only
Reply 85R.S 14 hours ago Thumb upThumb down +1I didn’t buy it when it was on sale but now that it’s free, I may try it.
I’m curious to know if it’s riddled with ads. Since it’s free, I can understand there being some. However, some games take it way too far as if to annoy you so much that you are forced to buy the paid app if you want to play the game.
Reply 55Jorge Branco 11 hours ago Thumb upThumb down 0Words with friends?
And they didn’t even make a paid version
i would never buy this but will give it a try
