Packard Bell Liberty Tab

A 10.1-inch tablet Android late June at Packard Bell, Acer and Packard Bell are closely connected, when the parent starts a tablet, it is natural that the follow subsidiary.

Packard Bell is also expanding into the shelves. The footsteps of its parent company, Acer, the brand released its Liberty Tab at the end of June. This is a model incorporating a 10.1-inch screen (1280 x 800 pixels) with brightness sensor, operating with the Nvidia Tegra chip 2 and running with Google Android 3.0 (Honeycomb).

Arias Iconia Tab

No revolution in the design of the tablet of Packard Bell. We feel that the influence of Acer is not far away like the A500 Iconia Tab, Tab Liberty adorned with two bands imitating brushed steel on the top and bottom of the screen. However, what we could see the back of the tablet is composed of plastic red or white, depending on the version.

Like the Acer tablet can find a USB Host port (to read the contents of a USB key, for example), a mini-HDMI output, a 3.5mm jack and two webcams (one in front of 2 megapixels, and one at the rear of 5 Mpix). The storage capacity is not yet known, but may be extended to 32 GB (Micro SD port present).

Finally, the network connectivity is limited to Wi-Fi n, a 3G version should be released before the end of 2011.

According to our information, the tablet should be available by the end of June and sold between $ 399 and $ 499 .
